DaNieLLaBeLLa 0 Posted July 8, 2006 Has anyone tried this program? I saw an informercial this morning for it and it looks fun and motivating! All the reviews I found online for it look good as well. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. I am looking for a fun, motivating cardio workout for when I am fully healed. thanks!
princess_n_thep 2 Posted July 8, 2006 Looks like high impact aerobics to me. That would KILL my back and knees. Your 25 though, so you may be able to keep up with that. For me... give me yoga and let me relaxxxxxxxxxx. :scared:
DaNieLLaBeLLa 0 Posted July 8, 2006 LOL jenna. I love yoga!! But I have asthma and want to give my lungs a run for their money and get them in shape too! Yoga is good for breathing but I want something that is going to get me sweating like madwoman and shed this weight off of me! LOL
Kathi 0 Posted July 13, 2006 I am interested in that program too... I did buy the "Slim in 6" workouts that they sold last year (same company) and I have to say that it is the best aerobics that I have ever done. You work your butt off. I was interested in the Turbo Jam just to change up my routine and because it looked fun.
puddin 7 Posted July 16, 2006 I have Turbo Jam. It's not high impact if you don't want it to be. It's very easy to make it low impact and they even have some girls doing it low impact. I really like Turbo Jam, but I have to admit I only do it when I can't get to the gym during their open hours. But it's a great workout.
DaNieLLaBeLLa 0 Posted July 16, 2006 Puddinpie - Is it hard to follow?? Do you have to be super coordinated to keep up with the videos? Have you seen good results with the videos? Thanks for responding!
puddin 7 Posted July 16, 2006 Danielle The 20 minute video is very easy to follow. The 45 minute video is a little more coordinated but nothing you can't get down pat within 3 workouts. But really, who cares, if you just keep moving you'll do well. I can't say if I've seen "good results" from the videos alone. I just do them when I can't go to the gym, or on Sundays. So really, I usually only get 1-2 sessions of Turbo Jam in per week. I've seen really good results from just exercising. My calorie device that I wear tells me that Turbo Jam doesn't burn any more calories (or any fewer) than a session at the gym. So, as a backup workout, I do like it. I wouldn't enjoy doing it day after day, though. It would get boring.
DaNieLLaBeLLa 0 Posted July 16, 2006 Thanks so much for your response! I think I am going to give the videos a try and add it to my Walk Away the Pounds routine
