SleeveGirl-TX 183 Posted July 7, 2011 I think it's a few places on there, but I know it's on her purees page http://theworldaccordingtoeggface.blogspot.com/2007/08/pureed-foods.html Shelly's Baked Ricotta 8 oz of Ricotta cheese 1/2 cup grated Parmesan 1 large Egg, beaten 1 teaspoon Italian Seasoning salt & pepper to taste 1/2 cup Marinara Sauce 1/2 cup shredded Mozzarella Cheese Mix ricotta cheese, parmesan, beaten egg, seasonings together and place in a oven proof dish. Pour marinara on top and top with mozzarella cheese. Bake it in the oven @ 450 for about 20-25 minutes (best) or nuke it till hot and bubbly. I usually made it first in the oven and heated the leftovers in the microwave. 2 Jbr043 and ddoherty18 reacted to this

SleeveGirl-TX 183 Posted July 9, 2011 Shout Out to SG-Hubby on here... he made this for me tonight. OMG, it was SO good. I felt like I was eating an actual meal! My kids loved it too (I could only finish one-half of the four ramekins we made and they devoured the other half after their pizza). Six thumbs up!

Gastricsleeve4me 186 Posted June 16, 2012 Made Baked Ricotta and was successful! (this is meaningful...I'm not a cook ) I blogged about it and posted some pics of how it came out. I used a mini-loaf pan and am loving the little portions. At 4 weeks out, I can eat about 3/4 of one in a sitting. Yum!! I'm going to try to make the cauliflower pie/bake in the loaf pan next and see how that goes. http://gastricsleeve4me.blogspot.com/

Sent from my SCH-I800 using VST eggface refers to www.theworldaccordingtoeggface.blogspot.com. She had WLS a while back and posts a ton of her recipes. The baked ricotta is one of them. It's a great site if you're looking for food ideas.

meggiep 57 Posted June 17, 2012 Looks yummy! How did you make that? Btw I posted the nutritional info for this based in the ingredients I used way back months ago...eggface doesn't do nutritional stats and during my weight loss phase I was a strict counter. I also made this with 8 ounces of ground beef on top under the cheese....YUMM! Search for ricotta to find my stats....
