Yoda 0 Posted July 10, 2006 hey neenagh...you don't have to tell your boss (ie. if it isn't when your vacation time is). All you have to do is say you are having "minor surgery" and it is none of his business what it is. If he pests you about it, you can tell him you are merely having a "hiatal hernia" removed (it is lacarascopic and has same recovery time). Not to worrry! neenagh 0 Posted July 10, 2006 Hi Yoda, Thats why i want to do it on my vaca, cuz if i take sick time, they will ask for a doctors letter, for sure. I know that the doctor will just put for a "procedure" but letterhead etc. may give the game away. I don't know why im so worried about it, but they always hassle us soooo much about sick time, and if they know it's "elective" they'll get thier knickers in a twist!
