YellowRose 21 Posted July 5, 2011 Okay... I'm about to scream. Husband is eating his dinner (I was just sleeved last Thursday). He is crunching and slurping and sloshing, and clanging that dang spoon against the bowl. ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHH... I would leave the room but I am in the middle of a project. I am going to have to work this out because the smell is sickening, but the sound is deafening. .... hmmm... think I'm detoxing????!!!!! Someone lock the knife drawer, please. hahahahahaha (JUST KIDDING.... about the knives but NOT about the God awful eating noises.) 1 gabby_abby reacted to this

bunny 2 Posted July 7, 2011 Hahaha oh lord I sympathize. I actually have a deal with my husband where until I can eat solid foods, he gets dinner on his way home from work. I love him so much for doing that. He usually has one of my Protein shakes for Breakfast, and then lunch and dinner while he's out. It's wonderful. 1 gabby_abby reacted to this
AmandaG. 6 Posted July 9, 2011 I thought I was the only one in the whole world who had this problem.. Its been almost 6 weeks for me and OMG I hate the sound of my husband making him a "milkshake" He puts tons of chocolate ice cream in a glass then adds milk and he clinks and stirs and all that good stuff for like 5 min. Then as he is eating he stirs it the whole time... It drives me nuts. I have no idea why. I just leave the room. I don't want to complain about everything he does. It is so maddening it is funny. I leave the room when he eats because I can't stand the noise. It is not so much about the food but just those sounds of preparation & eating. hahahahaha AND it never bothered me much before my sleeve. Might need to list this as one of the side effects! hahaa
