Jay Robb has a very high quality unflavored Protein powder. You can put it in drinks, sauces or whatever.

Ask 25 people what is the best Vitamin and you will probably get 25 answers. One thing you should know, is that not all vits are created equal and vits made specifically for bariatric patients could be in your best interest. Bariatric Advantage and Celebrate Vitamins give free samples and most of theirs come in chewables.< /p>

At first, I got everything I could in liquid form. Be aware though, some meds don't come in liquid form and some can't be crushed. What I did, was take a list of all my meds to the pharmacy. I asked them to tell me what came in liquid, what could be crushed and which ones I just had to deal with. They were very helpful and worked hand in hand with my PCP.

Best of luck.

Golfbuddy;

You will get really quick results if you stick to VSG diet guidelines. I learned quickly on from Tiffykins to keep my carbs to around 30gr a day, no more since any more seem to really slow down my weight loss. Stick to the diet. 64oz of Water, 70 + grams of Protein, >30gm carbs. Keep away from the sugar drinks. In 4 months, you will see results as much as other people.

I hear a lot of people like unjury Protein. To me, I could always taste the protein and had a very hard time. So, I drank my protein with Isopure 40gm clear protien drinks which I got from GNC. I liked the apple melon best, though none were delicous. I still take Barriatric Adv Vitamins and although expensive, I know I am getting high quality nutrients and the suppliments needed.

Congrats on being sleeved...now make it work for you!

      Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
      What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.
