Leslie 14 Posted July 2, 2011 So I went to pick up my post-op pain meds cause my surgeon wants us to do that beforehand. The pharmacist was explaing them to me and asked if the meds were "for after I had the baby". I laughed it off but was kinda embarrassed. LOL!! More reason to have this surgery!!! mythreechildren2001 7 Posted July 2, 2011 Well I'm glad you can laugh about it! I have been asked more than once when I was due, etc...never pleasant! I can't wait until I'm sleeved!! Good luck to you!
Nancy Rivers 24 Posted July 2, 2011 Wow - that's good that you could laugh about it. Thankfully, no one has mentioned that to me. I guess my weight is carried differently...

AutumnBlueCarmen 4 Posted July 2, 2011 Sorry that happened to you. The pharmacist is probably just as embarrassed, but maybe s/he learned his lesson not to ask. I've feared being asked this question...it has never happened, but I also were my pants tight and always have a muffin top. Soon, none of us will be confused as being pregnant! Proud of you for laughing it off!
Candace2314 117 Posted July 2, 2011 Sorry that happened to you. Did you laugh and do you straight face? , I think the straight face would've probably scared em though lol so maybe that's not a good idea. Kudos to you for keeping your cool :clap2:
mnbsleeve 87 Posted July 2, 2011 I"m sorry this happend and I am glad you can laugh it off. It probably happened because you must look beautiful and glowing with expectation! So here's a gorgeous woman who has a little extra weight and is so radiant... she must be expecting!!!! .. Okay, you're expecting a sleeve :-) Good luck with your surgery. You are sooooo going to rock!!!!!!
Leslie 14 Posted July 3, 2011 Thanks ladies! I think I was able to laugh it off cause I am soooo close to my sleeve date and new life!
Mimi77 6 Posted July 3, 2011 This has happened to me so many times. I have small legs and no butt and suppose I really do look prego since I carry all my weight in the front. Some of today's fashion trends don't help matters either. Try not to let it get you down- you are doing something about it so be proud!
