Raine 170 Posted June 27, 2011 Ok, so my scale says for my second month that I didn't lose anything but gained 3lbs. So I took everyone's advise and did my measurements. Since I didnt take them when I got my surgery, I called my surgeons office and got the measurements that they did. Over all I have lost a total of 19.75 inches. Not too bad I think. Raine 170 Posted June 28, 2011 I see what I did wrong . Was feeling bad for myself that I didn't lose enough inches but that was just for one side arm, chest, waist, hips and thigh, both sides equal to 39. I feel much better now

LilMissDiva Irene 3,282 Posted June 28, 2011 That's right, the tape measure can be our friend when our scales wanna be poopy pants. My scale has been really ignorant lately so I pulled out mine and found I've lost another half inch on my waist and one inch each on my thighs and even my arms. I've lost 1.5" on my hips. All this in one month!! Anyway this made me feel much much better. You're doing great, and the scale WILL pick up the tab once in awhile...
Amanda131 214 Posted June 29, 2011 Yay for you! I've always felt inches matter way more than pounds. NO ONE has to ever see what number the scale spits out but the inches are hard to miss! Amanda 1 LilMissDiva Irene reacted to this
