post-49456-13813668269832_thumb.jpg Well it is close to my one year surgiversary and I have to say that I have been a total lazy bones the last 3 months and I am kicking myself in the butt for it. I am jumping back on the exercise bandwagon. I gained 3 pounds the last couple of months but I think it is from some medication I have been taking but I should be able to stop in the next week or so. THANK GOD. I know I know 3 pounds big whoop but I still want to lose an additional 15.

It is so great to come back and see everyone that is working their sleeves and giving so much inspiration for those starting their journey. Way to go girls and guys too. Here is a pic from shopping last week. I shop wayyyyyy to much now lol. I never have problems finding something I like. WIsh me luck in getting those pounds off and finally getting motivated again to stay on track. I still eat small portions but I have been craving a ton of carbs, sugars and soda. If I just pay half a bit of attention it is no problem to keep losing. Say a prayer for me please.

Hey welcome back! I was wondering how you've been doing! You look great :)

Have you been drinking soda??? I haven't had one since August 2010, I'm afraid to even try one.

Ahh thanks guys, it is so good to hear that from everyone. Chilo how has your progress been? And you Sleeve 4 me are doing great, I saw your shorts pictures and I too have been wearing some shorts again for the first time in years!

I have been drinking soda but I really don't drink much. I may finish half a can a day. I drink mostly tea and Water.

WOW I am looking at everyone who posted above and your numbers. It is still amazing to me to see the success even though I have lived it. Such inspiration for sure. Keep it up everyone!

You look so awesome!!! I had been wondering how you had been doing. Isn't shopping the bomb? At first it is so intimidating when you realize you can shop in just about any store......and then....it's crazy fun!!!

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
