housecatgirl 0 Posted July 6, 2006 HI all, I am here to wine again.:help: I am 1-week post op and these are my complaints: My port area pain is still pretty bad especially in the morning.:omg: I went for a 2 mile walk last night thinking it's gas but it didn't help. Then yesterday I read all this stuff about port flippage. Maybe I ripped my stitched and flipped it?? I don't know but it hurts all the time...sometimes just tenderness like just sitting here to type this....other times bad pain like standing up or laying down.:cry I am also burping to the point that my chest feels like it's popping out...especially when I drink anything.:phanvan I try to take small sips but it doesn't matter....does this go away eventually? socalgal3 4 Posted July 6, 2006 I'm so sorry you are having such a hard time Laura! Today is my one week bandiversary. I get to have yogurt and Protein drinks! Have you called or emailed Dr. Ortiz's office? I suggest you did that and I hope you feel better soon!
housecatgirl 0 Posted July 6, 2006 Socal, thanks for your reply. I just e-mailed Rene (the guy who works the front desk). I don't want to bother the doctors if It's normal and I am just over reacting. I explained it to him and asked him to ask the doc if it seems abnormal. Anyone else have these symptoms for this long?? :think
socalgal3 4 Posted July 7, 2006 Any reply? Are you taking pain reliever and acid reducer? Maybe take liquid vitamins and or aloe vera juice to help with healing.
housecatgirl 0 Posted July 7, 2006 Hi Socalgal3, Unfortunately, my doctor won't call in any liquid Lortab for me.:cry I think she's pissed that I went to MX so I will be looking for a new pcp. Tylenol doesn't seem to do anything. Maybe I will try the Aloe Juice. My chest feels really tight and it's hard to take deep breaths but I probably still have alot of gas. My gasx has acid reducer but those don't seem to help. Rene responded that he talked to Dr. Martinez and he said to stop worrying I am fine.:tired
