The nausea,when does it stop?

Recommended Posts

I've finally moved on to the puree stage and I had bought some ice cream sandwhiches that have no added sugar. The ice cream without added sugar had more grams of sugar in it. this one only has 3 per bar. It went down fine,i chewed every bite to make sure the choclate top and bottom part were as mushed up as possible. Then I drank some Water after.

Thing I notice through the whole time since the surgery is the annoying wave of nausea i get that seems to come and go every time i try to either gulp liquid or even Jello.< /p>

Is this is supposed to be permanent?? I have to force myself to burp to get rid of anything built up after i swallow to make it pass quicker.

btw,can anyone tell me if those packets of lipton noodle Soups are allowed at this stage?? the noodles are those really super small ones.

Did they give you a prescription for nausea? I was given Reglan and it really helped.

I ate those Soups at your stage. I had the cup of Soup type and had no issues. Maybe try blending them up a bit so they are true puree.

I know some sweet things still make me a little queasy. Also, over-filling will make you feel bad. Make sure to measure so you only take in 1/4 cup of whatever. Also, drinking right after you eat is a no-no. Wait an hour and that will give your tummy a chance to process what you ate. Are you taking an acid reducer?

Good luck!
