Kissitgoodbye 0 Posted June 23, 2011 I have to start by saying "I am soo happy and grateful for my sleeve". But please lord tell this is not the end! I was sleeved on nov. 4th. I have lost a total of 82lbs. That is great, I would of never done it on my own. Now I have hit a stall and have not lost anything in a month. No loss of lbs or inches. This can't be it... I have plenty more to go. I went from 308 to 226! Don't quit on me now!!!!!
gabby_abby 1 Posted June 23, 2011 I have read else where that when people go thorough a major stall they go back to basics, the post op diet and even mushy food for a week or two and it jump starts them. Good luck! 82 lbs is AWESOME! I have to start by saying "I am soo happy and grateful for my sleeve". But please lord tell this is not the end! I was sleeved on nov. 4th. I have lost a total of 82lbs. Mick78 1 Posted June 25, 2011 I seem to lose more slowly then most people, but that's okay. I got sick on being on a low carb diet so I went off and did weight watchers a couple of times. I did end up losing some weight on this kind of diet but not hardly enough. I got off it about a month ago, and I only lost 6 pounds in the whole long month. I basically average around 15 pounds a month when I count my carbs and count my Protein. I have never lost less then 10 pounds a month while on this diet and that includes taking a few days off a month to enjoy some carbs. I would just go back to basics, before surgery I could count calories and lose weight but that doesn't work for me anymore. I have to eat low carbs and high protein to lose. I don't know why this is, but I know what works and I stick to that. good luck.
