Lisha 1 Posted June 22, 2011 Hi all- I'm 26, living in VA , and currently waiting on approval from my insurance company. I called my surgeons office today and the nurse told me they sent my paperwork in for approval last Friday. My mother had RNY Gastric Bypass surgery a couple years ago and she's doing well. I've been thinking about it for the past year but never really pursued it. A couple months ago I had a conversation with a coworker who had lap band surgery last year and she suggested I check out her doctors office. And here I am. I'm nervous and anxious.
