CLOE 0 Posted July 13, 2006 I'm with you guys, with the vitimins. I have bought them all, had the best of intentions, but gosh, life happens during the day, who needs to think about taking the pills too. I find it very difficult. Not that I'm giving up, never give up.

Yoda 0 Posted July 14, 2006 Yoda: so, do you take your Calcium at the same time as your other medications? Yes I do Mandi. I've never heard that you shouldn't and I've done a lot of research on it. Mind you, it doesn't mean I'm "right"...only that I haven't seen anything on that. I take all my vits (as well as prescription med) together in the morning when I wake up. Except I also take a calcium (with D) at evening as well. Cloe....what my husband and I do...is once a week (turns out to be Sats) we fill up our "week" pill boxes (ie. one lil' compartment for each day) with all of our pills (Vitamins and prescription). We each have an am and a pm pill compartment thingy. That way it isn't a big deal....in the am and pm, we just dump them out and take 'em.
Leila 0 Posted July 15, 2006 Argon, I don't think there's enough Calcium in a Multivitamin that would interfere with the absorbtion of anything else. It's only certain medications that calcium can effect absorption, the best person to ask is a pharmacist. They will be able to tell you if calcium contraindicates with any of the meds you are taking and if it should be taken at a different time or not. XO Leila First fill coming this wednesday, can't wait!
