shordee0751 0 Posted June 21, 2011 I can't believe my surgery date is less than a week away - June 27th, here I come! I haven't posted much but I have read a ton and learned even more...this is been a huge help in my journey. I have been on my diet for a few days and I noticed that crystal light has caffiene in it, is it okay to drink? My pre op diet states no caffiene or carbonation. I can not wait to be on the losing bench and I am already looking at the 2 lbs I have lost as 2 lbs I will never see again. I can't wait to get to know more of you better as I am not feeling a ton of support from my family and friends and know this is a community that will do that. Thanks! dental-diva 0 Posted June 21, 2011 How exciting for you! I am in the process of getting to a surgery date. Have done psych tests, nutritionist, physical and now my next appt 7/12/11 to see how it has come together to get a surgery date. I was totally appauled and mortified today when I went in to the office they weighed me and showed me my actual BMI of 40.2 and my fat % was 49, my fat mass was 126. I wanted to sit there and cry!!!! It was all I could do to hold the tears back. It just totally reinforces this decision to pursue. I wish you the very best of luck and look forward to hearing about your success!
