splashdancer 0 Posted June 17, 2011 Hi there, I am very new on this forum and only in stages of considering this surgery. I am a 49 yo female with about 100 lbs to lose. I think you have done great and I am very happy for you. Now, I am curious as to whether you have loose skin from losing so fast? If so or if not, do you exercise regularly? I currently do, and have for a long time. I am obviously very overweight but toned for my size. It scares me a lot to think I might have loose skin that could require more surgery down the road. Thanks for your response! Congrats- you have really worked your sleeve!!!
LilMissDiva Irene 3,282 Posted June 17, 2011 @MyJourneyBegins: CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! 100 Lbs lost is a MAJOR DEAL!!! Enjoy it by celebrating with something nice for yourself!! @splashdancer: IMO, I'd rather have loose skin than carry around the weight of a whole extra person. You can always cover the loose skin if it bothers you enough, however - you cannot cover up all the extra pounds. Nope, you have to wear that and its out there for everyone to see. I have some loose skin, and I'm sure it will even get worse the smaller I get, but by golly I'm here and I'm happier than I've ever been!!! 1 Gracey reacted to this
