I stalled for over 20 days starting week two. This is pretty normal. If you are doing everything your Doc wants, than you are doing your part, and things will move when your body is ready. Hang in there Kerry!
KellyL 173 Posted June 12, 2011 I was sleeved 5/16, and the scale isn't moving right now, but I expected the dreaded 3 wk stall, because I had read so much about it. It would have been great to skip it altogether though. I want the scales to move, but I have stopped weighing for now, to keep from getting too worried. I am already in smaller clothes, my rings are almost falling off, and my car feels too big when I get in it, because I am shrinking. I keep trying to adjust the seat and steering wheel lol. I had started losing weight pre-op, and had a 6 month stall after losing 35 lbs, so I can handle stalls somewhat, but hope since surgery, they won't last that long. Try to focus on measurements, clothes sizes, rings, other ways of measuring success. Stalls are inevitably going to be a part of our journey, especially when we have a good bit to lose. Don't get disheartened, it will come off eventually!!
