Has anyone had their Dr's not support their WLS decision?

Thank you all for your kind words, support and advice. I find it so helpful since outside of this forum I don't feel I have anyone that understands what I am going through. There is a local support group that I plan on checking out though. I had just assumed that my Doctors would agree with my decision so that is why I was suprised by the reactions I received. I am going to need my PCP to write a letter for insurance approval so crossing my fingers that I will be able to convince her to do so. Thank you losetobemeagain, for the tip. I think she would be agreeable to write a letter that I would be a good candidate for surgery.
