flower 2 Posted July 4, 2006 Do any of you do this sometimes I vomit after I eat because I still haven't learned to STOP needless to say I eat more after vomit it becomes a vicious cycle and to boot I am not losing weight what do I do. help Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
the best me 6 Posted July 4, 2006 flower, stop the cycle by switching to liquids for 24 hours, then spend a few days on soft foods. I'd also recommend aloe vera juice, 2-3 ounces 2-3 times a day at least to help heal any swollen tissues around your band. At that point you need to evaluate whether or not you need a small unfill. If doing the above doesn't solve your problems, then you need an unfill. If you are able to get "back to normal", then you need to re-learn your restriction level and work with it. Start logging your food for a few days. I'll confess, I have PB'd food, waited 10-20 min and then gone back and finished my meal. It's not good practice, since a PB (or vomit) is NOT good for my band. flower, you need to slow down and really listen to your band and body.
