Sleeveme2011 0 Posted June 4, 2011 Well, I had my sleep test done in May and I have sleep apnea. I got my machine this past Thursday. I "slept" with it first time on Friday night. Needless to say I do not like this thing!!! LOL! I know it is something i have to get use to for now but I am really not liking it. I woke up 3 times out of my sleep last night and two of those times I took the thing out of my nose as if it wasnt suppose to be there LOL! I have the one that goes in your nose and not the complete mask covering your nose , thought the less on my face the better. I am really praying this surgery makes the sleep apnea go away. Just a small vent! Have a good weekend all!
Nancy Rivers 24 Posted June 5, 2011 I completely understand about the machine. When I was diagnosed with it, I got the machine and tried several different masks. However, I needed to use the full face one, because I'm a mouth breather at night. Short story, I tried it for a year and felt that it wasn't doing me any good (in fact, I felt MORE tired while using it). So, I stopped using it. Although, I know several people that it does help. I hope it does help you. And they say that the sleeve does help with sleep apnea...
Lots Of Hope 4 Posted June 5, 2011 I also have used the nose piece with cpap machine. I take it off every night so far also. My husband has said, even without the mask, I snore less with my 20 lbs loss.

My hubby was like what are you doing, and I said getting a good nights sleep. LOL!
