Not in the mood -warning TMI

Luve is actually quite detrimental, as it only addresses the physiological results and not the underlying causes. I exercise (zumba, body pump, tango, pilates) about 6 times a week, I'm cutting back the carbs that have crept in, have become diligent about my Vitamins Protein count and Water again, yet nothing. I've kinda always been a little smug over my innate sensuality and my ability to experience eroticism and now, I feel as sexual and have about as juicy a responce as prairie grass. =( =( And that situaiton with the old flame was AWESOME!! He was quite ... goal oriented, and fun was had don't get me wrong, but I know what my body is capable of and I was nowhere near even middle of my range.

Sorry for sticking my nose in here to what may be none of a males business, but maybe all of the exercising is geting in the way of normal estrogen production.

My wife is a fit person and has always been so even when I weight 470lbs she was 110lbs and 5'-4" tall. She had an episode while training to run several 5k's where she lost all libido....and was she ever frustrated!!!!! it just would not work.!!!!..She eventually went to her Gyno doctor who helped her pin point that all of the increased training she was doing had her production of testosterone and estrogen all messed up and this made her feel less like having sex. I am not advocating for you to stop exercising just saying you might want to bring it down a notch to see if anything changes.. SHe backed off for 2 weeks and bingo bango right back in the groove... Hope this helps...

Testerone is not just for the boys you know ladies! I've been on a cream for several years now and love it so much I brought my gyno flowers. She laughed and said she'd gotten them for delivering babies before, but never for helping someone have better sex again. It has to be made at a pharmacy that can compound their own drugs - your doc can usually tell you where to take your prescription. It's been a life saver for me. I had a hysterectomy at age 41 and went many years of not caring if I ever had sex again. Now that I'm on the cream, I MAKE the hubby save a date night for me each week no matter what. And then there's always Humpday midweek you know.....

Hi everyone! I’m brand new here. I just went through all my pre-op requirements per my insurance company and now everything has been submitted and I’m just waiting for final approval and my surgery date. I’ve been doing research, watching YouTube videos, TikTok’s, ect.. trying to prepare my mind and what to expect so I’ll be ready for the surgery. I was so sure and so set and so ready and excited. However, now that I’ve done everything & it’s almost here, I am sooooooo scared! I know why I want it bc I’ve tried everything and I just don’t feel like I can lose weight by myself. I’m tired of being overweight my entire life. I’m miserable, but I keep psyching myself out afraid of GERD bc I know how that can be and I don’t want to have to get a bypass after already gaining the courage to even get VSG. I’m scared of complications like I’mgoing to regret doing it and be depressed that I didn’t just be more disciplined and try again to lose the weight on my own even sitting here typing this knowing in my mind i just can’t and don’t possess the discipline. I’m also afraid I won’t be able to handle the restrictions of the sleeve. What do I eat? I don’t know how to eat healthy really and don’t enjoy healthy food. I don’t know how to do this! I feel so defeated!Someone tell me they felt anything similar to this or am I not ready? I thought I was. I am so tired of being sick and tired and so tired of myself and so tired of being stuck and stuck in this body and somebody different on the outside from what I feel inside. I just want to ball up and cry.

Had a sleeve in 2017, lost over 100 pounds. Had a DS surgery this year (2025) for more sustainable weight loss. 🤞

The 14th was my day. I am home and recovery is going pretty smooth. They even let me walk out of the hospital. Picture of me in recovery curtesy of my boyfriend lol.

Neat you have a pic of this day! I was sooo happy to get my surgery. It was well worth it! And I'm not even near my goal. I had surgery Dec. 2!
