What does that mean for me??????? I am so confused! Is the insurance going to just change the code or am I going to have to stress another 2 weeks!!!!! HELP!!!!!!! fatBgone 6 Posted May 28, 2011 Could b very simple and she changes the code and you're approved or depends on your ins, some don't cover the sleeve only the band. Did you look into your coverage?

Texasmom65 23 Posted May 29, 2011 My insurance does cover the sleeve, thank goodnes! I do medical billing for a living and as long as your insurance does cover it, it should be as simple as changing the codes. You just need the approval for the correct code. Good luck, hopefully it won't take too long for your answer.

MRSKOUBiK 27 Posted May 29, 2011 I have Cigna and had the sleeve 12/20. Originally I was going for the band.... and, when I changed my mind they said it wasn't a big deal... just a code change.. and approval will come. Good luck!
