I have only had one surgery before and a c-section with my son. After my children my highest weight was 288, now with pre-op diet and all i am at 248 i am 5'7 not sure what im supposed to weigh exactly? Even as a teen the lowest i weighed was around 150. I have been having back issues the last two years, i have degenerative disc disaese and a small tear in my disc, also some heart palps and rapid heartbeats i think pac, pvc? Nancy Rivers 24 Posted May 23, 2011 Welcome and congratulations on getting sleeved on the 27th. I haven't been sleeved yet, but based on what others have posted, yes, the surgery will help with many of your health concerns. I think it's perfectly natural to be getting more nervous and scared. Afterall, this is a major surgery. However, keep in mind the reasons you are doing this and that will help. Feel free to ask questions here too. I have no doubt that you will come though it just fine.

ALHOAGIRL 0 Posted May 23, 2011 if you don't mind me asking why did you have to schedule and EGD?
Nancy Rivers 24 Posted May 23, 2011 Because I have the occasional acid reflux and the doctor just wants to make sure that everything is healthy before the surgery.
