Are you looking for the BariatricPal Store? Go now!

Question for those 8 months post op or longer

I hope I made sense of the whole thing. Basically you have normal Iron stores but you are low in your new Iron coming in. So this will eventually deplete your iron stores in your body. Small increases in your food will help to bring the ferritin levels back up. Have a steak with a beer or a glass of wine. Vitamin C is also very good at helping to absorb iron.

THANK YOU AUTUMNLILY! YES great job explaining it! I get it! OK I'm ON THIS!

I have to re-test in 2 months! I WILL DO THIS!!!!

Well said Tiff!

I am anemic. I have been taking Iron and I am more anemic now than

I was before I started taking Iron.< /p>

There seems to be a pattern on this. On OH, there is a thread " how many of you are anemic" Many people replied that they were.

You can still have chocolate

treats. I take the chocolate chews from Bariatric Advantage. They are Calcium citrate & they are yummy!
