lunarose 97 Posted May 20, 2011 Hi All, So I have had two NSV that I never imaged that getting the sleeve would bring. First off I can sleep through the night. I can not remember when I was able to do it. The second when headed to the ladies room I no longer have that sudden panicky need to go before I am ready to. Amazing. bilka 6 Posted May 20, 2011 I love, love, LOVE NSV! Isn't it amazing what "little" things can be so amazing? Congratulations on your great job!
Lakelady 2 Posted May 20, 2011 I immediately slept much better too! Altho I wish I'd kept my memory foam topped mattress that hurt my back when I was overweight because my bones dig into my new firm mattress! Nice "problem" eh?
wishes 125 Posted May 22, 2011 Oh wow, that is a NSV I really want to have. Congrats, it is the little things sometimes that makes this forum so awesome to keep coming back to.
lunarose 97 Posted May 24, 2011 Thanks. It is the little things I had no idea how much the weight was holding me back physically I can even cross my legs again. Had a funny NSV the other day. A friend's dog jumped on me the other day, Shadow has jumped on me before but I use to weigh more then him now I weigh less and the silly boy almost knocked me over. mb20mom 9 Posted May 24, 2011 I know exactly what you mean about the sleeping. My sleep apnea was gone after losing about 40 pounds, and then I realized one day that I wasn't having to wear a Poise panty liner anymore. I used to have little accidents at every sneeze, laugh or cough. Now, I had no idea that weight loss would take care of that! That never happens to me anymore. Some people need surgery on their bladder to fix that. I guess taking weight off your bladder fixes it too. I keep bragging that EVERY little ache, pain and physical discomfort has simply gone away with my weight loss. I think the medical community should really push weight loss to cure everything!
