Tmi- on liquid pre-op

Hi, when I hit my third day of liquid diet, I have (have) diarrhea almost immediately after taking in any type of liquid. Today is the second day of this. Is this normal?

I am on day 6 of mine and the first 3 days I had it every evening of the first 3 days. From then on, I haven't even went at all. I think it might be a cleansing of sorts. Getting rid of all the toxins.

I agree with doggeoomer. It's definitely a cleansing process because you've practical clean your whole entire system out that your digestive system is starting to work normally so it's actually re-adjusting

I just have to add that if you put liquids in liquids are going to come out. Just like solids in solids out (unless you have food poisioning then my whole rhyme is off).

I agree and have experienced the same thing off and on with preop diet. You are not alone...lol. Joan
