Yes, I could eat salad at three months. Had one, it was fine but I'd rather eat meat.< /p>

I'm almost 5 weeks and my nut also said 3 months originally. When I had my month post op appt, since I'm tolerating everything they said I could have a salad w baby greens or spinach, because they are so soft. They said to stay away from the harder lettuce for now, so no romain or iceberg.

My surgeon had told me that lettuce (ironically) would go down smoothly, and he was correct. I can eat a whole grilled chicken southwest salad from jack in the box with no problem (without the chips of course).

Yep, salad is very easy to eat. I can get a lot down.

3 months out and I could easily have salad. I have it almost every time (once a week) I have lunch with a friend (we normally go mac donald's, so I get a small salad without high calory sauces). No problems. I really missed it during the first 3 months!

I am able to eat salads without any problems, natural ruffage you know biggrin.gif

It all depends on how sensitive your stomach is, me personally, I healed very fast and very well. I am able to tolerate most everything, the only thing I'm still having trouble with is bread. Good luck.

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
