ireland 0 Posted May 14, 2011 I love salad! I am only a month out, I know I can't now. Just wondering Has anyone been able to eat salad
Foxbins 625 Posted May 14, 2011 Yes, I could eat salad at three months. Had one, it was fine but I'd rather eat meat.< /p>
fatBgone 6 Posted May 14, 2011 I'm almost 5 weeks and my nut also said 3 months originally. When I had my month post op appt, since I'm tolerating everything they said I could have a salad w baby greens or spinach, because they are so soft. They said to stay away from the harder lettuce for now, so no romain or iceberg.
sleeve 4 me 910 Posted May 14, 2011 My surgeon had told me that lettuce (ironically) would go down smoothly, and he was correct. I can eat a whole grilled chicken southwest salad from jack in the box with no problem (without the chips of course).
mb20mom 9 Posted May 14, 2011 Yep, salad is very easy to eat. I can get a lot down.
bilka 6 Posted May 14, 2011 3 months out and I could easily have salad. I have it almost every time (once a week) I have lunch with a friend (we normally go mac donald's, so I get a small salad without high calory sauces). No problems. I really missed it during the first 3 months!

quints 1 Posted May 14, 2011 I am able to eat salads without any problems, natural ruffage you know It all depends on how sensitive your stomach is, me personally, I healed very fast and very well. I am able to tolerate most everything, the only thing I'm still having trouble with is bread. Good luck.
