C 242.4 (-122.6 lbs total, +3.4 this week)

So bummed out already this morning... I have been back and forth at 239-243 for like 2 weeks!!!! UGH! I guess I am at a freakin plateau. I HATE it! I am also considering getting another fill... I have been stomach growling hungry a lot more lately... so I will see. Trying to kick it up with the exercising and drinking NOTHING but Water. Absolutely no sweets either.

Someone HELP!

I'm thinking about getting a fill also Heather. The last month I have been going up and down between 207-210. Getting hungry faster and eating more. It just feels strange, only having two fills in two years, but now it feels like I need another one after only 3 months.

I have the "up and down syndrome"

No loss this week. Just up and down, losing and regaining the same 2- 3 lbs in the past week. :)

For me I know it's time for a fill. food wise I can eat quite a bit. I have heard on here that if you can eat a whole chicken breast you need a fill, I thought about that as I got done with my whole chicken breast and was still not full at a fourth of July party this month.

I ate a whole chicken breast recently... (screams) but it was soo good! :) I am eating more but I'm working out like a fiend..(cept for yesterday) and I think b/c of the workouts, I'm eating more for fuel.

I'm stalling. I will need a fill. I will give in next week I think.

I have an appt for my fill on the 31st. We are going on vacation the week before that and I don't want to be out of town if it is too tight or something.

After reading what Paul said... I have concluded that I definitely need one. Probably not much at all, but I do need something.

Telly, I vote Yes for your fill! You have done so well, and that fill will make it so much easier for you.

(I was thinking of you on the elliptical today.... I wanted to stop at 15 min. but I hung on till 30)

So... me, Emilee and Telly need fills... Watch out for the big losers, coming thru... :)

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
