LR6909 10 Posted May 3, 2011 Okay, I think I am getting a little excited. I have my initial appointment scheduled with the doctor on Wednesday, nutrition consult/eval and mammogram. I read one person’s posting that they were approved with Empire BCBS in 9 days. I am so hoping, it will be the same for me. I would love to have the surgery right after my birthday. I sent an authorization to my internalist so that she can send it to the doctor’s office. Hopefully, since she has been treating me with adipex for the last year and half, the insurance company will see that I have been trying with limited success. I know I will have to do pysch evaluation, cardio and maybe another test. Thanks to everyone for their posts and candidness. It really helps us newbies out. Just-A-Gem 86 Posted May 4, 2011 I am also a newbie in Houston! Lot's of fluffy Houstonians here, I've seen. Good luck with the insurance. Like an idiot I switched to an HSA this year, so no dice.
