neese007 0 Posted June 28, 2006 Hi - just curious...... How would you know that your band slipped? I do understand that it can be seen under flouroscopy, however, is there signs and symptoms the bander FEELS if the band has slipped? Also, does anyone have problems PB'ing always on the first meal of the day - then by supper time, has no problems pb'ing or no feelings of restriction? leatha_g 4 Posted June 29, 2006 You can have slippage without any overt symptoms. Then again, sometimes nighttime reflux is a sign. Others have experienced excessive repeated vomiting and being unable to even swallow their own spit. In this case, you'd want to find your nearest ER. Otherwise, some have had no symptoms at all and only found their slippages through flouro or other gastric x-rays. Just remember, it's not that 'easy' to slip a band, please don't let it be a constant worry for you. Just live and cross those bridges only if you come to them. Early morning tightness is almost universal for banded folks. Try warm liquids to help loosen things up some.
