4 days post op

Hi, I'm 5 days post op and I'm suppose to only drink my Protein shake, Clear Liquids and sugar free pops. Do you think I could try strained Soups. I have been struggling, diarrhea, feeling sick, smelling the hospital at home which also makes me sick. I broke down yesterday because I had such an awful headache. Help with any suggestions. The stomach pain in finally getting better.

I had my surgery on the 27th. My 5th day post op I was able to move to strained cream soups, muscle milk, and strained cream of wheat all made with silk soy milk. This is what my Dr told me to do so I don't see why you can't. It does take me about an hour to eat 1/2 cup of strained cream of wheat. I was able to eat about 550 cal yesterday. Even though I feel stuffed my stomach still growles as if I am hungry. Someone who I know who had the lapband says that it's the acid in my stomach and that if I get a perscription for pepcid it will help. Has anyone heard of that or experienced that?
