Weightbgone - things will get better. Your ticker does not say how long you have been sleeved...assuming a short time frame ago? Your body is getting dramatically less calories, sugar than before...it is not happy and now your are lethargic. Make sure you drink enough, commit to get out and walk four times a day for 15 minutes. Grab your bottle of liquids, sip and then walk. No matter what. Yes, it is easy to lie down and nap but then you are not tired at night and then your body is truly mixed up.

Hugs to you.

Also - are you taking your Vitamins? And your B12? And getting in the right amount of Protein? And the right amount of fluids? All these are critical to getting your energy levels back to normal.

Good Luck!

Hey again, weightbgone! I've been taking the sub-lingual B-12s from costco and they've really helped with my energy level. We were sleeved around the same time, so I feel your pain. I think it'll get better though as our bodies figure everything out.

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.
