cwalker 12 Posted April 30, 2011 I can't believe it's been a year already, what a great year too!! I wanted to lose 80 lbs as my original goal and have lost 75. The sleeve has been amazing and for once in my life I feel good about myself. I try to walk everyday and know it is the key( for me anyway) to maintaining. I have revised my goal to 75lbs because I am happy here, knowing I look healthy. My highest weight as 255 and now is 180. My jeans went from 18 to 12's and tops went from 2x to lg. It's so funny I live in a rural area with 3 red lights. I was the first sleever and now there are 4 of us. We outnumber the redlights in town.lol I am battling a kidney stone but I had stones before WLS so I'll just be glad to see it gone. I hope everyone is having a great weekend!!! M2G 1,836 Posted April 30, 2011 Congratulations on your surgiversary and your wonderful success! I was giggling about the red lights vs. number of sleevers in town. I live in a major metropolitan area and my surgeon just started doing sleeves within the last year or so, and so for 2010, he did 19 sleeves (myself being one of them) and I actually know 4 of those 19. Small world, huh!
