ndbeekeeper 0 Posted June 28, 2006 I am so freaking out right now!! I am 7 days post op and accidentally swallowed the piece of sugarless gum I was just chewing!! Do you think I should be worried ? Sunta 5 Posted June 28, 2006 I would say that if it went down and you have no signs of a PB, it probably passed into your large stomach and you will be fine. The concern for gum I believe is that it could get trapped in the stoma, which you would almost certainly feel. If you feel fine, you probably are. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
