How did you approach the scale after surgery?

Recommended Posts

I am not yet sleeved, hoping July/August. Right now I weigh myself every morning and I am fine when losing or maintaining but get a little stressed when it moves up, even .2. So I am wondering it anyone put the scale away before surgery? Maybe used a different measure such as clothing? Also I am wondering about possibly just having my husband give me the scale once a week and keep it hidden otherwise, Just wondering what some have done!!

Yes you should not weigh more than once a week. There will be times when you stall and it will drive you crazy everyday and wind up depressing you. It is really a mind thing that you have to control because you will start thinking to yourself is this it is this all the weight I am going to lose. I weight once a week and when I lose I am happy and if I don't I always tell myself maybe next week.

Well, I weigh before I go to bed and when I get up. Daily. Probably not the best thing from a mental perspective, but I feel it keeps me in check with what I will eat throughout the day.
