Weird Food Cravings

Hello All.

I was just wondering if anyone else out there has had weird food cravings during their liquid period. For example, at the time of this writing, I have a weird craving for cheese. For the past few days I have had a craving for chicken nuggets....and I'm not really a big fan of the chicken nugget.

I craved cheese also!! I even went to the trouble to chew up a piece to get the taste then spit it out. Liquid phase had me craving foods and the most vivid dreams about food also. It did pass when I got to mushies.

I did on the pre op diet but post op it wasnt bad at all. Pre op that was a whole different story!

I have been having the same craving since getting home for a chef salad and I have never been a fan of that. I think it is just our minds messing with us knowing we can't have whatever it is. I don't harp on it though and the scale moving is reason enough for me to say no thank you

indeed, the mind is a powerful thing. whats wierd is that now that i am post op, i STILL have wierd cravings. things i never liked before, i am picking up at the store. and things that i LOVED before, i have no interest in. Things just taste different for me, and with the want of making good diet choices...its all very exciting. i am finding so many things that are good and good for me. but i still get the wierd 'head hunger' and when i go to satisfy it, i am totally disgusted. its crazy!!
