Paulax 8 Posted June 28, 2006 Please tell me, can one have surgeries too close together? I could be called any day for a day surgery and my lap band surgery is July 21st. Is there anything to be concerned about if they are close together? with regard to general anethesia? Thanks in advance I'll be a pin cushion this summer. Jachut 487 Posted June 28, 2006 I've had this before, I had a rhinoplasty and heel spur operations within three weeks of one another. I was fine, although I was only 18 and not overweight. I did feel very groggy for days after the second surgery (the heel one), but both were short operations so not too huge a dose of anaesthetic. Lap band surgery isnt terribly long which is good and I'm assuming that for day surgery you wont be out for hours either, so you'll probably have no dramas.
