ckreasor 0 Posted April 20, 2011 I am happy to say that I'm finely sleeved!!!! I feel a lot better then I thought I would. In fact the only real complaint I have is being tired and still a little sore but that's not bad considering I'm only 10 days post-surgery. I was Sleeved Dr. Alvarez on 4/9/11 and I can't begin to tell you how happy I am with my choice of surgeons. He was better then everyone described. His bedside manner is unbelievable. He is so kind and caring..... and ladies I have to say it, he is smokin HOT! After surgery I woke up in my room (in NO pain), with him there holding my hand and telling me how well my surgery went. Then IT happened..... that filter between my head and mouth stopped working and I told him just how HOT he was. LOL Yep I had some good drugs! Dr. Alvarez and his entire staff were so caring and made me feel very comfortable. I would highly recommend him to anyone. I'm entire recovery has been smooth sailing so far. I'm eating some yogurt right now and I feel great. So far I've lost 22lbs since starting my liquid diet on 3/31 (not bad for less then 3 weeks). I"m went back to work on 4/18 and so far so good. Beadingnurse 116 Posted April 20, 2011 Congratulations!! :clap2: It is a thrill when you get through the process and realize it wasn't as bad as your fears. The good new is that you can blame all of the "drugs" you had as the reason that you told your doctor how hot he is!!
SpiceyMom 0 Posted April 20, 2011 Ohh! So glad it went well! I'll be there next Thursday and will try to control my opinions about Dr. Alvarez post-surgery. My hubby will be there and that would just be awkward. seriously, so happy for you and your quick success!!
