sychadelic 10 Posted April 18, 2011 Hi guys, just wondering what some vets think........I have about a half loaf of wheat bread left over from my neice's visit this past week, and was wondering if I could do french toast with it, since I am on mushy stage. Was thinking I could add more egg than normal and make it really mushy, and have sugar free Syrup to use. This would not be a normal occurance, just hate to waste food if I don't have to.....what are your thoughts?
Billy363627 15 Posted April 18, 2011 I personally would stay away from it.. The bread from what I have read is not really good for your sleeve. I have read in a couple of areas that people have eating bread and they were miserable afterwards.. I think that personally the bread would get clumped up in your sleeve and swell . Tiffykins 673 Posted April 18, 2011 bread swelled up tremendously for me early out. I tried a couple bites of bread around 3-5 months out, and it was immediate discomfort. I feed it to the birds. Not really wasting it, but it wouldn't be a food I'd even try to eat that early out.
sychadelic 10 Posted April 19, 2011 Thanks for the quick answers. I guess I was thinking more of making it mushy rather than thinking about the fact that it's bread. Definitely don't want that uncomfy feeling, had it once, and ick! Bird feed sounds like a good idea....thanks for the idea
