QueenBee 0 Posted April 15, 2011 I am 5 weeks out from my surgery. Had a complete hysterectomy 7 years ago. I am noticing a "small" amount of blood when I wipe. Not sure exactly where it is coming from. I no longer have periods because of the hysterectomy. Any thoughts on what is going on? I am talking just a slight coloration on the toilet tissue. Not every time, but maybe once every other day. This has been going on for about a week.???? ps. I see my Dr on Monday afternoon.
wishes 125 Posted April 15, 2011 Ooh, are you rubbing too frequently or too harshly? If not, I would definitely at least speak with my GYN or PCP just to be sure. Please take care~
Cmsumom 5 Posted April 15, 2011 Yea- I would definately call your dr- obgyn- I have had a hyster. also - but this surgery should not effect down there- but I did notice that when i had another surgey- later to take out a tumor- I was definately more dry down there- might be due to all the meds and such- idk- just saying- maybe that is the cause (sorry just saw where you put you see the doc on Monday- )
Janae 12 Posted April 15, 2011 It's possible you may have a low grade urinary tract infection. Any other symptoms such as urgency, frequency or burning? If you are not well-hydrated, it is much easier to contract a UTI. Contact your doctor ASAP.
Foxbins 625 Posted April 15, 2011 You probably have a small hemorrhoid. Wipe carefully to avoid irritating it and maybe take a stool softener, as they are often caused by straining during a BM.
Billy363627 15 Posted April 16, 2011 I would say maybe you are having hemorroide issues..but I would get it checked out for sure..you never know..
