Curvy8 2 Posted April 10, 2011 I'm almost 3 weeks out and just wondering when everyone started to work out? I'm going to ask my doctor when I see him at the end of this month but thought I'd ask all of you too?
kellyw74 258 Posted April 10, 2011 I have not had surgery yet, but my dr. says that we can not do anything but walk until 6 weeks out! Hope this helps! Kelly

sunnyd 32 Posted April 11, 2011 I could only walk at first but just got the ok to start on the elliptical at 3 weeks out. I can do light weights but nothing over 20lbs until six weeks.

I've heard alof of different times 3 week to 6 weeks. I'm going to ask my doctor at my pre op on 4/29.
Margaret 4 Posted April 12, 2011 My doctor said no heavy lifting until 3 weeks out---and that entails heavy garden work. Walking from the get-go.
