2sweetnsugarland 9 Posted April 10, 2011 I got my surgery date -- 5/13/2011 -- now I'm in the process of getting things together. I just finished making a big batch of chicken Soup for my Hubby but I strained off 6 1/2 quarts of broth for me for those days when I don't want to drink the Protein Drinks all the time. I read on this site about a binder. Someone e-mailed me back and told me what it was but I forgot to ask where can I get one from??? I don't know if my surgeon requires me to wear one but I think I would benefit from it. Any suggestions??? Thanks in advance!!!

Maybe a sports or medical supply store?

The one I got was the kind that is used to protect your abdomen when you lift heavy weights. It is black with Velcro. It was great after surgery. I wore my day and night, only taking it off to shower. Watch out on making broth a month ahead. Even frozen chicken broth has a short shelf life. Good luck!
