They gave me a prescription but it's hard for me to swallow because my tonsils are still swollen from the breathing tube........did anyone else have these issues? I'm also having issues getting my meds in.......man this needs to get a little easier.

Courage 0 Posted April 10, 2011 I had my surgery on Wednesday April 6 and found I was really nauseated for the first day or so, the doctor gave me a prescription for Phenadoz in suppository form and it worked wonders.
iegal 460 Posted April 10, 2011 I am so sorry to hear of your suffering with nausea. I can empathize. Did not feel well for over 5 days and then was tired for another two weeks. Was like a baby who would sip, sip, sip, waddle around the house a little when someone was there to watch me then take another catnap - repeat. Recommend trying room tempature drinks or warmed Decaf peppermint tea. Put a heating pad on your stomach on low, this seemed to help a little bit too. Good news - even with my slow paced recovery (in my opinion) I would do it again in a heartbeat. So worth every discomfort.
