Paul11011 372 Posted April 8, 2011 Admittedly I'm not the 5 o'clock shadow kind of guy. Normal facial hair shaving for me has always been every third day typically. I have noticed since about 6 weeks post op, I've needed to shave every other day and really could go daily now. Anyone else seeing anything like this? Rootman 1,101 Posted April 8, 2011 Yes, I think it's 2 things. Your testosterone levels are effectively higher as there is less YOU to dilute the test. around in. Exercising (if you are) FURTHER raises the test. level. I think that our skin is also not a tight and the hairs might actually be bunched closer together too, which may make it appear that they are coarser. A high Protein diet also may nourish it better, rather than one rampant in carbs like we used to eat.

Have to say that I haven't given it much thought, but then again I am only a little over two weeks post op.
