crosswind 134 Posted April 6, 2011 I think I'd be more worried about going to Mexico than having the surgery. : ) optasia, Mexico was awesome! I want to go back!
****** 12 Posted April 6, 2011 Seven days post op. My incision is not infected. I am not sick or throwing up. I have no fever and no pain. I am obsessed about getting Water, Protein, taking small sips, not putting anything into my mouth the doc said not to, taking my nexium, getting lots of rest...etc -- because I literally can not afford a complication. However. Just to let ya know. So far, if you're thinking about going rogue over the border ( with a GOOD surgeon) and no insurance -- seven days out and I'm still not dead. CW That is fabulous news! It reminded me of the line from The Princess Bride when Miracle Max said that Wesley was only "mostly dead" -- so I rejoiced to hear that you were not even close to mostly dead! Yay You! The first place I look when I log on are for your posts/blog, 'cuz Girlfriend you are a stitch! Love your writings and musings. Please don't ever stop!!! I love the LOL till my face hurts sensation after reading your stuff..... And, not dead is an AWESOME NSV!:high5: E 1 renniemommie reacted to this
jasaz 0 Posted April 6, 2011 We are at about the same place, I am 12 days out (also not dead!!). I went to TJ with Dr. Kelly. Mexico is not scary, at least not where I was. Incisions look great, bruising is almost gone - Life IS Good!!
