The only ones I could somewhat tolerate were "Flavorless" Any whey which I added to smoothies, yogurt, cooled hot cocoa and unjury chicken Soup. How far out are you? janinemaire 7 Posted April 4, 2011 I never had one Protein Shake, I knew it would make me sick. I bought unflavored Protein Powder and mixed it with creamy Soups, which worked for about a week before that make me sick also. I told me nut I wasn't doing Protein powder and am basically eating nothing so by two weeks post op I was able to start having soft protein; eggs, cottage cheese, deli turkey etc I felt so much better.
