crosswind 134 Posted April 3, 2011 When I made the mistake of getting on the scale in Mexicali I was up about three pounds after surgery. I'm a little confused about my scale: my scale thinks I'm a lot thinner than I apparently am by something like fifteen pounds, which is always comforting except, you know, when you step on somebody else's scale and feel like your reality has been stabbed with a dull knife. However, I think I finally lost a little weight. Maybe ten pounds? Hooray!

Can'tweight 41 Posted April 4, 2011 Congrats to both of you!! I was a little surprised when I got home from the hospital and had put on 4 lbs. But I forgot about the swelling and fluids they were pushing in me. I am 2 1/2 weeks post op and have lost 21 lbs since coming home from the hospital. Can I just say that I think I am finally figuring out this "when to stop eating" thing. Thanks everyone for all the knowledge and advice, and also your questions.
