I had surgery on feb 11. I have had my period so many times since surgery that i've lost count. I go maybe 3 days without my period and then it's back. So my time of the month has turned into time of the week. Anybody else experience this? Should I be concerned?

I had mine arrive about 4-5 times in the first 2 months.. it has since slowed down to the regular once a month..

I would not worry unless is continues for more then 2 months.. it is just your body trying to adjust to everything that was done to it..

I'm having the same issue.... weight loss + surgery = hormone craziness.

As you said, misery loves company and I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one with this issue. I haven't had a period for years due to depo shots. 10 days after surgery, hello TOM. Lasts for a week. Two weeks later, hello TOM again and have had it now for a month. Hoping things regulate soon.

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.
