jess-band4/06 0 Posted June 25, 2006 I am asking for all of your help!:help: My DH, DS, and DD and I are going on our first family vacation since my 'banding'. Okay, my questions are...how do handel the many dining out options and I write down and count calories of what I eat each day-what's the consensus on doing that? What about doing it on vacation? I am very anxious:paranoid Thanks, Jessica

Tamyrn 0 Posted June 25, 2006 Take your handy calorie counter book and eat small portions or even a bite or two of the yummy things your family eats. Is there a member of your family who will share food with you? My family and friends are mostly plate sharing folks, last Friday night I shrimp toast, crab cakes with corn and black bean salsa and 2 bites of something chocolate all in extremely small portions to suit my tummy. Have a wonderful and safe vacation.
vlb11752 0 Posted June 26, 2006 We eat out alot. Every family function is centered around food. We all get together to eat out when someone is in from out of town...we go out to eat for every birthday. My son-in-law is a vegetarian in a family of extreme carnivores...now I have the band...we don't obsess over where we are eating...other people do. We can find something everywhere we go. appetizers are great for me, or I eat something from my husbands plate. I'm a really cheap date....well inexpensive. Enjoy your vacation....don't obsess...there is something anywhere you go.
