Recommended Posts

Hi everyone I am shy of 4 weeks out and I have a major headache. I drink 60 plus in liquids n 60 plus in Protein plus the food I eat. So with that said how do I take a Tylenol tablet?? Crush it or kids liquid Tylenol? Thanks, patty

I could just swallow pills and tablets at 4 weeks out, but if you're worried it might get stuck, cut the tablet in half.

I got mine at CVS pharmacy. Could not find it at Walmart.< /p>

I have to say, it is VERY strong tasting and feels like nyquil used to feel going down. Like a warm, too sweet feeling. But it does work and pretty fast, too!

Hey Smof4, just in case, check your blood pressure if you haven't already. High BP can cause a headache, too.

I would look at a pharmacy for the liguid adult tylenol, not at a grocery type store.

Tylenol Rapid Blast is a liquid and adult strength. I always found mine at Walmart and it was cheaper there than I've found anywhere else.

It still goes fast though, so once I went through two bottles I just started crusing the tylenol pills and used Water to dilute. It tastes terrible but its a lot cheaper and I don't even use Tylenol that much. I just wasn't able to use my NSAIDS until 1 mo out so I had to take something.

Is Dayquil or Nyquil not an option for us?

I tried some liquid NyQuil with my last head cold and my stomach burned like lava!! It scared the bejewels out of me. It also hit me so fast I felt like I smoked something funny rather than take an OTC cold medicine. After I started using the gel pills and all was ok using those.

We went to CVS and the pharmacist mixed some adult liquid tylenol for me. It tastes just as bad as the loritab but doesn't knock my on my butt! Plus you only have to take about 5ml (instead of 15ml of loritab)

For some reason, stores aren't carrying the liquid tylenol. You are fine swallowing the pills. I wouldn't take on an empty stomach or take them with a glass of milk.

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.
